I work at Best Buy in North Olmsted, Ohio. I sell digital cameras, DSLR's, camcorders, and accessories. I have only been in that department for almost a month now, after starting out in Loss Prevention back in November. My knowledge of photography made it a natural fit to help customers with those products.
I was asked by management to take pictures at our team meeting, which we typically hold every few months to help keep everyone on the same page. The managers and supervisors select individual department and an overall store MVP to help give recognition to those they feel are doing an outstanding job.
I was just named overall store MVP. I was (and still am) at a loss for words. I am just very thankful that I have been given an opportunity to showcase my abilities.
Below are some pictures from our meeting, in which I used the new Canon Rebel XSi DSLR. I attached a 70-300mm telephoto zoom lens. This combo will no doubt be my next camera.
