The Sears Tower Skydeck gives you a view of Chicago from 1,353 feet. You can see 40–50 miles on clear days, where you can see Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin. Adults can visit for only $12.95. Guests enjoy a short movie on the history of the building before their ride up. The elevator takes just over a minute to reach the Skydeck. The view was absolutely breath taking.
The Sears Tower opened in 1973 and stands 1,450 feet, 1,730 feet including it's twin antenna towers. It weighs 222,500 tons, that's 445,000,000 pounds. Approximately 25,000 people enter the building each day, with an estimated 1.3 million tourists visiting the Skydeck each year.
